This policy applies to us.shevisautomation.com, operated by Shanghai Sheweisi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., trading as Shevis Automation, in Shanghai, China. It explains cookies and similar browser storage. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information more broadly.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files saved by your browser. Local storage keeps information in the same browser across visits, while session storage normally lasts for the current tab session. We use these technologies for the purposes described below. Browser settings and private-browsing modes can affect their availability and lifetime.
Essential shopping and website functions
The shopping cart uses local storage named partgrid-cart-v1 to remember selected products and quantities, including product identifiers and any saved brand or model information. The selected shipping country uses local storage named shevis-shipping-country-v1. These names are internal technical identifiers, not the names of separate businesses or third-party providers. Both entries have no automatic expiry in our code and remain until replaced, removed or cleared by the browser or visitor. Session storage named shevis-paypal-pending-v1 remembers a PayPal payment awaiting confirmation and is removed after payment confirmation or normally when the tab session ends. The current storefront uses United States, USD and English settings. Legacy partgrid_market, partgrid_currency and partgrid_locale cookie values do not change those fixed storefront settings.
Checkout, support and administrator cookies
The shevis_checkout_draft cookie identifies saved checkout details and lasts up to 24 hours. The shevis_support cookie identifies your customer-support conversation in the same browser and lasts up to 30 days from creation. Chat records are deleted after 30 days of inactivity. These cookies contain random identifiers rather than your payment details. The partgrid_admin cookie is used only for administrator sign-in and lasts up to 8 hours. These first-party cookies use HttpOnly and SameSite protections and are marked Secure on our HTTPS website.
Optional Google Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure website use, including product views, cart activity, checkout steps, completed purchases and enquiries. On a new visit without a saved choice, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded until you select Allow analytics. If you select Reject analytics, the site remains available and the tag is not loaded on subsequent visits while that choice is saved. After permission is granted, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Their expiry is controlled by Google Analytics and browser settings and may be renewed by activity. Your consent choice is saved separately in local storage as shevis_analytics_consent until you change or clear it. Only when analytics permission is saved as granted, session storage entries prefixed shevis-purchase- may be created after a confirmed payment to help avoid reporting the same purchase again in that tab session. These entries normally clear when the tab session ends.
Advertising and third-party services
Our current consent configuration keeps Google advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization disabled. We do not currently use an advertising-cookie consent category. PayPal may use its own cookies or similar technologies when its payment components load or you use its checkout, for functions such as payment processing, authentication and fraud prevention. Cloudflare provides website hosting and security and may use security-related technologies when needed. Third-party storage and retention are governed by the relevant provider and your browser; rejecting our optional analytics does not disable requested payment or security functions.
Change your choice or withdraw permission
Use the Cookie settings button below or the Analytics preferences control on the website to allow or reject optional analytics at any time. Withdrawing permission stops our future analytics event reporting, clears accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page with the Analytics tag disabled. This does not delete data already received by Google. You can also delete cookies and site data or block storage in your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent the cart, checkout continuity, chat history or administrator sign-in from working correctly.
Storage, privacy and updates
Cookie lifetimes, browser storage lifetimes and server-side record retention are different. Clearing browser storage may remove your saved choices and conversation access without immediately deleting server-side records. Please see our Privacy Policy for data handling and contact us about privacy requests. We update this policy when website technologies or purposes change and display the latest update date on this page.
